Rubidly ("the app") is made by Rubicod. This page explains what data the app uses and why.
Your messages stay on your phone
The messages, templates, drafts, lists and reminders you create are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us, to advertisers or to any server. When you send a message, it goes straight to WhatsApp on your phone.
Contacts
If you add people to a list from your contacts, the app reads the names and phone numbers you choose, on your device only. Contacts are never uploaded or shared. You can deny or remove contacts access at any time in your phone's settings.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone. No reminder data leaves your device.
Ads
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allow tracking), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, and information about the ads you see and tap. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy options. You can also turn off personalised ads for all apps in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
Crash reports and usage statistics
To find and fix bugs, the app sends crash reports through Google Firebase Crashlytics. To understand which features are used, it sends anonymous usage statistics through Google Firebase Analytics. This data is not linked to your name, phone number or messages, and never includes your messages, lists or contacts. You can turn both off in the app under Settings → Privacy.
Deleting your data
All app data is stored on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. For data held by Google for ads, visit My Ad Center.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
